1. Speaker:Dr. Ying-ai Jin is a professor/doctoral supervisor in College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University, China.She worked as Senior Research Fellow at University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2018. Her research covers widely ranged areas of energy utilization. She received the First Prize of National Teaching Achievement by the National Education Ministry in 2001 and over 10 provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. Prof. Jin has carried out a UK-China Industry Partnership Programme (Newton Fund) from Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) and other National projects and enterprise cooperation projects. She has 95 publications (including journal articles and peer reviewed conference papers) and 8 patents.

3. Abstract: With the rapid development of vehicle electrification and intelligence, significant progress and apparent differences have been made with electric vehicle thermal management technologies and development routes compared with traditional vehicles. This speech describes the technical progress and future development trend of battery, motor, heat pump and air conditioning subsystems and vehicle integrated thermal management system of electric vehicles.
